Lone Star Chevrolet was an outstanding dealership. Location was close to home. I was able to schedule an appointment early the next day. I had viewed their stock and the "Car Pro" agent had the likely vehicles located and ready to view. Adam Dezzi was knowledgeable about the vehicles. For the "gotcha" questions I asked he was knowledgeable and for the odd questions I asked, he knew where to get the answers. All in all, I was very satisfied with the dealership and our purchase.

We worked with Gary Ortega. He was very cordial, and made us feel he was there to answer any questions we had. My wife found the color she wanted, even though we didn't need a 4x4, I figured it might help on resale down the road. It was the first stop in our search but Gary worked with the numbers, and gave us a fair trade in value on our Terrain, I thought he gave us a turn key price we could work with. To work with the finance cost we wanted to put a sizable down payment to keep our payments affordable. The PU is in our driveway, end of story.

My experience from first contact to being out the door with a new vehicle spanned about six hours. I came to the table already having decided on the vehicle I wanted, and Lone Star Chevrolet had it in inventory, so there was no hemming and hawing over anything. I sent in an inquiry mid-afternoon and Saul Pena responded promptly, and after a few phone calls and e-mail exchanges I was able to pick up the car that same evening. The credit application and document signing processes all went smoothly, nothing unexpected. Everyone at the dealership was polite and helpful every step of the way.

After a SNAFU at a different CarPro dealer, we ended up contacting Lone Star Chevy. Adam Dezzi actually contacted me on Sunday (day off) to get the ball rolling. Adam confirmed appointment for Monday. When we got there and receptionist was contacting Adam, Clyde Jacobs introduced himself and asked if I his Adam's CarPro appointment. He told me he would be checking to make sure everything was going good. He did that a couple of times during the process. Adam showed up and we got things going. Took us to vehicle we were interested in. Went on test drive and I could tell my Bride really liked it. We got back to the dealership and we started the process. While waiting for a few things, Adam introduced us to Robert Martin who he wanted us to contact if we need assistance and he was not available. Robert asked me a couple of times if everything was going ok. The wait we were experiencing was from our credit union, not Lone Star staff. Mike Khaled took care of the paperwork end of it. He was very informative and helpful. He did everything in his power to let my bride drive the car home that night. Pleasure to work with during the monotonous stage of the process. Next step was Elvis who set up phone app, got tags and final steps completed. He was a hoot. Forgot to mention Mike Baches. He introduced himself early and told me if I had any issues to find him. Overall, a great experience and I will recommend CarPro and Lone Star Chevy to friends and family.

I signed up on the car pro site. I received a call and email from Adam at Lone Star Chevrolet immediately . Due to the nature of my job, I advised I could not communicate during the day. Adam respected that. We set up a meeting for Saturday as that was the earliest we could be at the dealer. I went there looking for a truck or something like a Tahoe, but we already had a truck and I had already decided that a Tahoe was too expensive. But I went anyway because the salesman was working hard to get my business and I felt I owed it to him to speak directly to him face to face and tell him, that I really don’t know what I want and prefer to wait a few months. But then he showed me a 2023 Telluride with only 4500 miles on it. And I liked it a lot. I could have walked away and gone to a Kia dealership just 5 miles from my house, but Adam was very committed to getting me a good deal and I’m a every weekend Car Pro show listener, so I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Plus I’ve registered for that Corvette giveaway so I feel like I’ve got an interest in Carpro.

Responsiveness was great; however, my carpro was not able to answer my question about whether or not I could order a corvette e-ray from them. They wanted to sell me an e-ray they had in stock that had none of the options I want. The e-ray they have has no options and I explained that if I’m going to spend well over $100k for a car that is highly customizable from the factory I want to be able to choose from the mfr options that are available. I asked if I could be placed on a waiting list and/or leave a deposit to order an e-ray and instead of a straight answer all I received was they will keep my information and let me know whether or not that is possible without any timeline given. This left me feeling like the only reason I was contacted was to see if I would buy the no optioned e-ray they have on the lot. I understand the dealer striving to sell their stock first, but they should also understand Corvette customers want to customize and order their cars. Other dealers I’ve contacted at least have a waiting list and they are upfront about how long it is and if they require a deposit or not to be on it.
