This week I’m behind the wheel of the 2026 Infiniti QX60 Sport AWD, a refreshed version of the three-row luxury SUV I’ve recommended heavily over the last few years. When I reviewed the 2025 model, I called it one of Infiniti’s most polished efforts in a long time: quiet, handsome, comfortable, and very family-friendly. Those things haven’t changed, but for 2026 Infiniti gives the QX60 sharper styling, upgraded tech, new seating materials, and an all-new Sport trim that brings a more assertive look and attitude. If you liked the 2025 model, this one is simply a better, more modern version of the same package.
Exterior
The new Sport grade slots above Luxe and below Autograph, and it carries an appearance that actually lives up to its name.

You get gloss-black exterior accents, a sportier front fascia, 20-inch black wheels, and an exclusive Dusk Blue interior theme that gives the cabin a richer, more contemporary vibe. The exterior itself gets a mild refresh this year, including a revised “floating” grille design and updated LED daytime running lights that give the QX60 a more premium face.

It’s not a radical redesign, but side-by-side with last year’s model, it definitely looks cleaner and more confident.
Performance
Under the hood, the QX60 retains the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo inline-4 cylinder, delivering 268 hp and 286 lb.-ft. of torque and the 9-speed automatic. It is paired here with standard all-wheel drive on the Sport trim. Ride quality is still tuned for comfort over sportiness, and the light steering makes it easy to live with in everyday driving. Most buyers in this segment want peaceful, predictable behavior, and the 2026 QX60 continues to deliver exactly that. Towing capacity also remains the same, topping out at 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Interior
Inside is where 2026 brings the biggest upgrades. The new TailorFit seating surfaces are a softer and more durable material made partly from recycled content, and the Sport version uses a richer pattern and color mix to set it apart, and the seats are perfected bolstered for comfort.

The seat design hasn’t changed otherwise, and that’s good news—this has been one of the QX60’s strongest features. The front seats are supportive, the driving position is excellent, and the second-row captain’s chairs are comfortable and easy to fold for third-row access. The third row is still best for kids or adults on shorter trips, but that’s true of most three-row crossovers.

Tech is where the QX60 makes its biggest leap forward. For 2026, Infiniti adds Google Built-In, giving you Google Maps, Assistant, and Play baked directly into the infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay was already on board, but now wireless Android Auto is standard, which fixes one of the common gripes from last year.

A new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster joins the central touchscreen to modernize the cabin, and USB-C ports are added throughout the second and third rows. The overall interface is quicker and cleaner than the outgoing system, addressing a key complaint I had with earlier models.
Standard Equipment
Standard features are abundant and to recap, they include LED headlights and daytime running lights, a power liftgate, the 20-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, power heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, leatherette TailorFit seating surfaces, a panoramic moonroof, and second-row heated captain’s chairs.
You also get the new Google Built-In infotainment system with a 12.3-inch center display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a removable second-row center console, a wireless phone charger, and multiple USB-C ports throughout all three rows.
Safety
Safety and driver-assist features also take a step forward. Infiniti now offers the latest version of ProPILOT Assist with enhanced lane-centering, more intuitive adaptive cruise behavior, and improved hands-on guidance in highway driving. Visibility remains good thanks to the high seating position, and the Around View Monitor system has been updated for clearer low-speed maneuvering. Infiniti has kept the physical controls you need—buttons, knobs, meaningful shortcuts—which continue to make the QX60 easy to use without digging through screen layers.
Utility
Cargo space stays the same, and while the lift-over height is a little tall, the space is usefully shaped. With all seats folded, you get plenty of room for large items, and the power-folding mechanisms work quickly.

Fuel economy & Pricing
Fuel economy is good at 22 in town, 27 on the highway, and 24 combined. I was actually doing better when I was driving the speed limit. The price was possibly the nicest surprise. Everything mentioned here is standard equipment and this ultra-loaded SUV is coming in at just barely $65,000 which is outstanding by todays 3-row luxury SUV prices.
Verdict
Overall, the 2026 QX60 Sport AWD feels like the natural evolution of the SUV I liked so much last year. Infiniti didn’t reinvent anything, but they cleaned up the styling, upgraded the tech, improved the cabin materials, and added a trim that gives the QX60 some welcome personality. If you were shopping a 2025 version, this one is a bit nicer in all the ways that matter day-to-day. And if you already own one, you didn’t miss a revolution—just a thoughtful round of refinements.
