Over the internet and telephone, I worked with Rachel Wood who was very helpful. After a 11 month wait for the XLT truck I ordered, Rachel offered an upgrade to a Lariat order which another person had chose not to purchase. Having had truck now for 15 months, I really appreciate the upgraded features in the Lariat. Although the Elk Grove dealership is a 3 1/2 hour drive each way from my home, I really wanted to deal only with a dealership recommended by Jerry Reynolds. When arriving at the dealership, Rachel assigned me a sales associate to help me during the test drive and purchase. Although a pleasant individual, the product expertise of this sales associate very lacking in regards this new truck. He did not know what several of the instrument panel features were or explain how to properly use them. I learned later after reading the manual that he gave me erroneous information on at least one important breaking feature on the truck. I liked the Car Pro approach to purchasing vehicles and plan to use it again later this year when purchasing another vehicle.

Was notified the car I ordered was in, arrived at dealer to find another vehicle I didn’t order. There was much confusion the original order could not be produced to see what occurred. They had just gone through a dealer purchase and there was to much confusion. Rachel was nice, but lacking answers as to what happened. I had purchased two other vehicles at this dealership, there just wasn’t the efficiency and professionalism I had experienced previously. I will shop elsewhere in the future.

I held off submitting this review, as there was an issue with the vehicle we purchased and I wanted to see how it would be resolved. In this transaction we traded a 2015 Edge that had been purchased at EG Ford. Though we liked the vehicle, the flex plate failed not once, but *twice*, two years apart. It is a known issue, with TSBs issued, but no recall and there was no relief/assistance to be had from Ford or the dealership, which is disappointing. We decided to start with EG Ford, to see whether there would be any consideration offered on a replacement, in light of the fact that we effectively paid $4000.00 more for the Edge, having absorbed the cost of two flex plate replacements. While I'm not sure we did get that consideration, we were able to find a vehicle and make a deal that met the parameters we set for out-of-pocket expense to us. Unfortunately, in the first week of ownership, that vehicle ( an Explorer) exhibited front suspension issues. I am pleased to say that EG Ford had us bring it back and after inspection, replaced the sway bar. We are now happy with the Explorer. Rachel was very responsive after receiving my initial email and once we met in person, she connected us with Austin, who handled the transaction from there pleasantly and efficiently, all the way through the repair. The way both Rachel and Austin resolved our situation has salvaged our relationship with EG Ford, where we have now purchased four vehicles over the years. When the market settles down, I will be watching for a "gently used" Bronco (the real one, not the Sport) and I will expect to find one there, eventually. I worked with Car Pro Dealer Rachel Wood. My boyfriend is an avid Car Pro listener and thankfully was able to get me an appointment with Rachel to test drive a couple used vehicles. When we first arrived we met with Rachel right away and while we were chatting she had the first vehicle brought up for me to test drive. Although I didn't end up being a fan of the first vehicle I test drove, when we got back the second one I wanted to look at was ready to go. The quick and attentive service was great. During our initial inspection and test drive we did have a couple concerns about the vehicle. After the test drive we spoke with Rachel about our concerns and I couldn't be happier with her response. Rachel went above and bound to ensure our concerns were dealt with and the preventative maintenance we requested was competed. Rachel was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend a visit to her when you're in the market for a new or used vehicle. Within 5 minutes of going on line and receiving the "priority pass", I received a call from Rachel Wood. I explained what I was looking for. She suggested a Ford Fusion. Upon arriving at the dealership she had one brought up front to test drive. I like the test drive and purchased the auto. She and Tony Ho made the purchasing process easy and smooth. This review is over one year old (2019). Somehow it got lost. Initially I talked with Cale. This dealership was the only one that had the vehicle w/Options we were looking for (2019 Edge ST), but it was physically located at the Elk Grove dealership they also owned. Rather than moving the vehicle, we drove to it. We had searched probably at least 6 other dealership, including the ones we had purchased two Taurus SHOs and one Titanium Escape from. We had searched probably at least 6 other dealership, including the one we had purchased two Taurus SHOs and one Titanium Escape from. <br> From the way we were treated, they (and the whole "Crew" at Elk Grove Ford) only have one business model; and, that is putting the customer first. They also knew our philosophy, no BS (because we probably know as much, if not more about the vehicle than they do, We don't haggle. Give me your BAFO the first time or we walk. Don't try to "Sell" me on "Cute" extras. We don't come to look, we come to buy. If a vehicle meets or exceeds our expectations... we buy. Probably the easiest and hardest sale they ever had. The dealership passed with "flying colors. The people were great. Cale's wife was awesome and he said we would love her. He was right.... And, we bought the vehicle, A year+ later, we are having some problems. 80% are TSBs. 10% are Ford selling an option they do no have a fix for since ~2017/2018 - Adaptive Headlights not working; and, 10% USB port "normally Inop", assumedly Fuse 10 associated area, but wireless charging works, as does the front side "Console" DC Accessory. It is a "Can't Fix It, If It Ain't Broke" Question, yet undetermined is, is there a different fuse, not identified that services these USB "Front Console" ports.<br> These issues are NOT a reflection on the dealership. They have been wonderful. So much so, that when we were doing a Matrix on an Extended Warranty on our 2014 Taurus SHO, they rated highest overall. Rebeca was again wonderful.<br> What else could we say???? We are an Odd Duck... well, at least I am. And, as the "Owner/CEO of the Team" we have very high expectations for our "coaches" and "players". Elk Grove Ford are "Team Players", with great "Coaches. They do what they do very well. Yes, they want to win, but they only can exist if they make the "Owner" happy. - The Customer!<br><br>They made this Owner very happy (the Customer). After all, we went back and purchased a >$3500 item that was not directly related to the original purchase of a White 2019 Ford Edge ST.<br><br>Kudos, all around Elk Grove Ford, and Thank you.

I had spoken with a salesman prior to my visit. He assured me that the vehicle would be held for me. He knew the day & time I was coming. When I arrived the salesman was not there & the car had been sold. Cole Wood & Elk Grove Ford went out of their way to resolve a bad situation. Our new salesman Austin was knowledgeable & attentive. We were treated very well & drove home in a beautiful new Escape Titanium. As a Ford retiree I was pleased with how hard they worked to make everything right.

Like every other review of Elk Grove Ford, Rachel was great. First, I was about 150 miles away... second I had two trades... third I was credit challenged... fourth I have been in the car business for 20 years as a service manager, so of course I am hard to please. Rachel found the truck that worked with both myself and Ford Credit, she worked her magic and they bought the deal, she sent the truck to me with two drivers and the paperwork and had the trades driven back. When my lease is up in 3 years, if Rachel has not called me to try and get me into a new truck, I will be calling them.

Rachel was great. We had a bumpy start in that I made an appt and then waited for her for 20 mins before leaving. I texted her and she explained that no one told her I was there so I went back. From there things were great. She answered all of my questions and she found the exact car I was looking for and I love my new car. I was disappointed that on the way home from picking up my car from the dealer, the light came on showing low tire pressure. I had to find a place to fill up 3 of the 4 tires. Part of delivering the car should have included checking the tire pressure before I took possession of the car.

I was debating which trim to get and couldn't make up my mind. Cale was very understanding and was very patient with me. He got me a ranger that I said I wanted. I ended up changing my mind at the last minute at finance and wanted a different trim. He was still happy to do it for me and I really appreciate it. I love every bit of it. More importantly my wife loves the truck now cause it has heated seat and navigation which I didn't even known it comes with.

I did not visit the dealership. However, I was in contact via the phone and email with Rachael Wood. She was very professional, respectful, and answered all of my questions. I did not purchase the truck due to the fact I am moving to Texas next month. In my opinion, it wasn't a good move financially to pay sales tax and licensing fees in Ca. and then pay them again one month later in Texas. I will recommend Rachael and Elk Grove Ford to my friends.

So very different than all my experiences in car buying. I had been in contact with Rachel for several weeks until I was prepared to define what I wanted. She provided me window stickers of various trucks honing in on the features I wanted. At our first appointment she had a truck waiting for us to examine to see if that was meeting out requirements. Within an hour we test drove the truck, went over all the features and was presented with the price. We wanted ad different color...she excuse herself for a moment, came back and said the exact truck we wanted could be there in one day. We closed the deal and have never been more pleased. In 2015 I went to the CarPro Honda Dealership & was treated like scum, like I had a disease, Next stop was Elk Grove Ford met with Cal and was treated like I was the most important person in the world. Per your suggestion purchased a Focus. Big mistake. I had trouble with transmission. Went back to Elk Grove Ford I met with Rachel and again was treated with care and respect. Ended up with an '18 Fusion. Great car. Unfortunately I ve made 4 bad decisions and had to turn the Fusion back into ElkG Ford - Talked to Rachel and one again she was helpful and understanding. I am now w/o a car, but when I am ready I'll very likely return to meet with Cal or Rachel."

Rachel found the car I wanted at another dealership and had it delivered to Elk Grove for me. She offered a fair price for my trade-in. At the dealership I worked with Jason Paul, who was courteous and didn't apply any pressure to buy. I was in and out in 3 hours. Since the purchase, Jason has given me two lessons on the infotainment system and he said I can come back any time for a refresher in I need to.

I just ordered my third vehicle through the excellent service from Rachel. She's been very responsive to my inquiries. and the ordering process was so easy. All three vehicles were ordered over the phone and Rachel was able to answer all my concerns about the various features. No up selling, very matter-of-fact. When I take a vehicle in for service or repair, it's ready within time frame promised, unlike my experience with another Ford dealer closer to my home. I'm sorry I didn't discover Elk Grove Ford 10 years ago.

We have been thinking about getting a Ford Explorer. I listened to your show last Saturday Morning and you talked about Rachel at Elk Grove Ford. So I signed up for the Priority Pass and then looked for a dealer within a 100 mile Radius of Brentwood Ca. Only two popped up. Elk Grove and Turlock. We decided to go to see Rachel at Elk Grove Ford. I texted her and within 5 Minutes she responded back. She told us that she had 5 Explorers on the Lot. Two ST,s. I had told her that my wife had an 2015 Acura TLX and she wanted something bigger(She does a yearly road Trip to Indiana , where my daughter and 5 Grandchildren Live)but Sporty. Rachel new exactly what we were looking for. we got there a couple hours later and wow we were treated like VIP,s.. Rachel and Clay(Sales Associate) where great. They had a Black ST that we liked , but my wife didn’t like the second row Bucket seats. Wanted a bench (60-40 split) . Before Clay could get us an offer, Rachel found one not far away and said she could have it the next Day, Sunday. We told her that it was ok if it took a few days to get here. We left that day and as we drove home , my wife and I were talking that we really didn’t want to drive the hour and ten minutes to Elk Grove on Sunday. We are pretty Devout in our Religion and we believe in keeping the Sabbath Day Holy and not do things that we normally do during the week. So Sunday Morning came and Rachel said the Car would be there at 3:30. We thought she was going to really pressure us to go against what we believe and come in on Sunday and pick up the car. To add to the Pressure , Sunday was the last day of the month. When we explained to Rachel our Beliefs, she was wonderful about and said , “No Problem”, come in when you can. What a relief! I told her we would give her 10 on a scale of 5. We bought the Black Explorer ST, and love it. They even missed a paper we were supposed to sign and Drove out on Friday and signed the paper. We have had some bad and shady experiences with Dealerships in the Past. What a breath of Fresh air Rachel and ElkGrove was. I would definitely buy another car there. I found a 2019 Nissan Murano Platinum on their website and contacted them through the Car Pro website. Rachel Wood quickly responded and we corresponded through email. I provided information and pictures of my 2015 Murano Platinum to trade & to my surprise she offered $3K more than Givemethevin.com and also came down a little on the price of her 2019. We weren't able to meet in person due to conflicting schedules, so Rachel had John Luna help me and he was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I drove the 2019, looked it over throughly, and then met with Rob in Finance who must have prepared most of the paperwork ahead of time because we were done pretty quickly. The whole process was very smooth. As a bonus, my husband purchased a 2013 F150 Limited Edition 6 years ago from Rachel and now needed an extended warranty. They sold him one on the spot AT COST while we were there for my car! As repeat customers, we already knew to expect a 1st class experience and they did not disappoint! I did my research on all the available packages and options for an F150 Lariat. Rachel asked questions with regard to the options I wanted and cleared up any confusion I had on selections. I was able to order everything I wanted at what I felt was a reasonable price. There was no up-selling or pressure to buy. The only package I had to get was the FX 4 which was the only way to get skid plates. It was all done over the phone and in a very relaxed manner. It was an excellent experience.

I need more starts. Seriously. 5 is insufficient. 10 would be better. 15 seems reasonable. All the other reviews are not wrong. The process is amazing. Rachel made us feel special. She answered all my questions, went out of her way to find a very particular combo we were struggling to find ourselves and was gracious in accommodating my work schedule. The price she assembled with all the discounts she found was amazing. The day we were finally able to get there to complete the process, she came and sat with us as we waited for the vehicle to be brought around for our test drive, chatting with us, even though I'm sure she had 900 other things to do. David who took care of the contract and paperwork and Austin who facilitated the test drive and taught us about the car deserve praise too for continuing to treat us like family and making us feel special. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, the whole experience was just too perfect. I am a frequent listener to the Car Pro radio show. My 2003 Nissan Altima was getting worn out from my long commute and I have to credit the Car Pro radio program for helping me make a decision on buying a new vehicle. I have had good luck with previous Fords in the past so I decided that the 2020 Edge was the right vehicle for me. I live in Modesto, CA and was checking out dealership inventory online. I found that Elk Grove Ford had the best selection as I was looking for either a new Edge ST or Titanium. I saw one in particular on the dealer web site that looked just right and even drove by the dealer early in the morning to check it out in person. Once I saw it in person I knew that was going to be my Edge. I headed home, sent the Car Pro V.I.P. email, printed the certificate, and headed straight back to the dealer. I was greeted by sales associate Steve Hancock and the whole Car Pro experience happened exactly as described on the radio show! I am very impressed by the level of service I received. Relaxed and efficient with no hassles. Since I was coming out of an "old school" car Steve took the time to explain all the new technology that came with the 2020 Edge which was extremely helpful! Rachel, Austin, and Will did an outstanding job of listening to us concerning our needs for a vehicle and helped us discover what we really needed. They were very knowledgeable about the various years and trim lines for the Ford Escape and encouraged us to test drive several of these SUVs to experience them. This proved to be invaluable as it allowed us determine both the year and the trim line we felt we needed which turned out to be the 2020 SEL AWD Escape with a 1.5L eco boost engine. Rachel worked very hard to not only find the vehicle we needed, which she located well outside the Sacramento area (200 miles), but also gave us the price we were seeking given our budget and philosophy of buying 2-3 year old vehicles to reduce cost and mitigate depreciation. The price we got for a new 2020 was so low that we felt like we were getting a vehicle that was already partially depreciated. We choose the Escape over other small SUVs because overall the Escape suited us better, and the people we dealt with were fantastic.

He just kept e-mailing me as I told him when ready I was only going to get another Ford. I finally saw one online I was interested in and applied for my VIP pass. I was treated like Royalty. My son needed a new work truck so I contacted Rachel Wood at Elk Grove Ford to see what was available. She gave us a great price and was more than generous with his trade in sight unseen. The color of the truck he wanted was at another dealership 200 miles away. Rachel said no problem, she had the vehicle picked up and delivered to his residence where he test drove it and then signed all the documents. Because of the coronavirus, not going to the dealership and seeing the vehicles was different, but overall it was a great experience and worked pretty well. This is the second time we have purchased a vehicle the Car Pro way and it has made buying a car fun again.

Spent quite a few hours leasing an Edge ST and walked out of there exhausted and with headaches. Very much the wrong decision. Five out of Five Stars! Can I give a Dealer Rating of 6 out of 5 Stars? With my CarPro VIP Priority Pass I contacted Rachel Wood about the specific 2019 F-150 I wanted. Within minutes, she called to say she located the pickup I was looking for and offered us a great price right off the bat. We live up in Chico (about 110 miles north of Elk Grove) and couldn't get down to Elk Grove until the following week. Although Rachel said she was going to be on vacation, she would have one of her staff help us out when we were ready. Johnnie Perkins, their leasing manager, had the truck cleaned and ready for us to test drive, answered all of our questions, and knew the F-150 inside out. Their finance director, David Ramirez, was also great to work with. We got an awesome pickup and had the most pleasant no pressure experience of buying a car that we ever had.

My second time to purchase a new Ford from this dealer using CarPro. My positive experience seven years ago, and Jerry's continuous positive feedback about Rachel Wood brought me back. I had an appointment with another CarPro dealer (Mazda of Elk Grove) to look at a Miata. Rachel was again mentioned on the show a couple weeks ago, so I thought, let's see what they got. I contacted Elk Grove Ford through CarPro and received an email in about an hour from Rachel. I picked out two 2019 EcoBoost Mustangs from their inventory. Both were waiting for me when I arrived for my appointment last Saturday. Tony Ho was the first to help me, and got me in my first choice within 3 minutes of my arrival for a test drive. I knew right away this was my car. Upon arriving back at the dealership, Rachel was right there to greet me. I absolutely loved both Tony and Rachel. Their attention to make me feel special never stopped. I drove away in about three hours after arriving (would have been sooner, but I had to wait 45 minutes for finance guy to get ready for me). Got CarPro pricing and more rebates than were on the website for this beautiful Pony. My first car, 40 years ago, was a 64 1/2 Mustang. Thrilled and in love that I am now driving a 2019. Rachel was gone for a special weekend with her daughter, so David stepped in and we agreed on a purchase price and trade-in value over the phone. Sun roof malfunctioned on pick up day.. A part was ordered and it was fixed in 3 days. David and Rachel were great. Although my trade-in truck was technically theirs, they let me drive it during the interim. I was given the wrong 2nd FOB with no cargo bed keys on delivery. Since David lived nearby, he personally delivered the correct FOB on his way in to EGF.

Wonderful experience and great customer service. Due to the odd things in the car market right now we were able to bring in our leased Escape early. We had some equity in it due to the used car market right now. Luckily they had an Edge we loved and Rachel and Johnnie made it happen. We learned about what was happening in the used car market by listening to the Car Pro every Saturday. With the equity in the Escape we were able to get an Edge at a great price! This is our second purchase with them. Looking forward to the third!

I like this dealership, bought my wife a Ford Explorer thru CarPro VIP Process in 2019 here, and I ordered a Mach-E GT from this dealership now. I had a great VIP process last time with Rachel and Johnnie. However, this time even thought I scheduled an appointment presenting my CarPro VIP, when I arrived no Rachel and Johnnie did not remember we had an appointment. (or was not notified). I like Johnnie, but he seemed ill prepared or not told we were coming, and he did not know anything about the Mach-E. In conversation it was clear that Johnnie has nearly zero information on the Mach-E. as well as he commented negatively on the whole concept of EV. He clearly does not like EV's which is fine, but maybe he should not be the representative talking to customers like me who love EVs. I only share this as I hope constructive feedback. I will still buy my Mach-E here and wish Johnnie well.

We only called and spoke with Pam over the phone. We told her what we were looking for and that we found what we wanted at hilltop ford in Richmond CA. And what price could she offer for a comparable vehicle if they had one in stock. She called back with a a retired vehicle with 3000 miles and the price was higher than the new one that was more loaded at hilltop. Suffice to say we bought at hilltop. I do like to buy local and American so it worked out. I do feel if we had pursued elk grove we might have been able to deal more. The dealership was over a hundred miles away and I didn't want to have to drive back and fourth trying to decide what would be the best deal. Thanks love your show. We ended up with a 2020 explore XL with a bench seat in the back very loaded and only 32 miles on it. For a new car it is noisyer than I would have thought. <br>I wish I would have read what you recommend about extended warranties and maintenance packages and theft protection packages. Hopefully this is my last car. I usually keep them for at least 20 to 25 years!<br>

I have never been more pleased. Rachel contacted me immediately after filling out the carpro form and within a week she found exactly what I wanted. I had very specific whats and the color proved to be the most difficult. Once she found the truck, she gave me a price on the new truck and my trade in. She had the truck picked up and within a few days we set up an appointment to see the truck. This was the easiest transaction. They took the time to go over all of the interior and exterior features, programmed the phone and answered all of our questions, more that once, without being rushed. The finance specialist was also beyond excellent. This is a fantastic team, with no pressure, unbeatable prices, and beyond excellent service. I drove over an hour and would do it again. The Carpro Vip experience is just that. Thank You

Once again, my wife and I received outstanding service at the dealership. No surprises here. This is the second vehicle we have obtained from this dealership and the fourth vehicle obtained from a CarPro dealer. We were treated to courteous, professional service with jut the right amount of friendliness thrown in as a bonus. They went out of there way to provide just the right vehicle, options at the right price, and gave us an excellent price on our trade in. The documenting / finance process was painless.<br>When the vehicle was prepped for delivery to us, it was inspected by Johnnie Perkins, who decided that it didn't meet his expectations and sent it back for further detailing. We then inspected the vehicle, and he explained all the features paired our phones and we drove away with a full 36 gallon fuel tank. I'm not sure we could have asked for a better experience, but I am sure that had we had asked, Rachel and Johnnie would have attempted to provide it.

On 12/30 a 10:30 PM I realized I only had one day to purchase a car for my business. I got my Priority Pass and asked to have someone to call me the next morning. My wife and I were in Monterrey, a four hour drive from Elk Grove. The next morning there was a text from Rachel on my phone. I called her just minutes before she was to board a plane. She text me Mikes name telling me he was her head Carpro guy. Mike is a fun guy to work with. There was no pressure. My second purchase at Elk Grove ford. I purchased a new Ford Escape 2016. On FRIDAY 13th it was totaled. Went through the process. I found a 2019 with incredible rebates etc. They also had a use 2016 like the one I totaled, But with all the incentives on the 2019 the price difference was very small. New cars has all the warranties etc. Now I put so much down on the 2016 the value and what I owed was about the same. I may even get some money back from my insurance company. Best part, My new car payment is one a few dollars more that the other one. And I have a new car. I may have to go back on 6 months to look at a Mustang. As always the service was great. Rachel and John have always been great to deal with.

Elk Grove Ford didn't have the 2019 Raptor I wanted, but before I left the dealership, Tony showed me a copy of a different Raptor window sticker and asked if that vehicle met my requirements. It did (a trade from another dealership). E.G. Ford delivered the vehicle to my home the very next day along with all the documentation. Three days later I received a copy of all the documents I had signed. How could anyone ask for more?!! One more note: There are at least six other Ford dealerships closer than Elk Grove Ford, but none of the other six are CarPro dealers.

It was truly a pleasure working with Rachel. She listened to what we wanted in a truck. We were originally looking at Certified Pre owned but she was able to meet our needs with a new truck. She had 2018's that she needed to clear from her inventory and priced it so it was doable for us. We would definitely purchase a Ford car from her again!
