A hybrid is a vehicle that combines a gas engine with a battery and electric motor. While they typically cost more than traditional gas-only vehicles, they're more fuel efficient and thus deliver real fuel savings at the pump. They also offer very solid dependability. I'd say they're the right choice for most drivers today looking for improved fuel economy and gas savings.
