Q:  What Are Dealer Add-Ons?

A: Dealer add-ons are products offered in the finance department. You can opt to buy them when finalizing your car purchase.  There are worthwhile products offered, like extended warranties and GAP insurance just to name a couple, but they are totally up to you. Add-ons must be broken out on the contract itself so they're easy to spot. Remember, these extras are all optional and you are not required to buy them. It is also extremely important to READ WHAT YOU SIGN.

Here's a list of add-ons that might be offered by a dealer:

- GAP Insurance
- Extended Warranties
- Wheel and Tire Insurance
- Nitrogen-Filled tires
- VIN etching
- Rust Proofing
- Fabric Protection
- Service Contract
- All-weather floor mats
