Weekly Recalls: Hyundai, Lincoln

HYUNDAI

Affected Hyundias: Approximately 100,000 model-year 2011-14 Hyundai Sonata sedans and model-year 2013-14 Santa Fe Sport SUVs

The Issue: During engine replacement due to a previous recall of these vehicles, the high-pressure fuel pipe may have been damaged, misaligned or improperly torqued, which could allow fuel to leak, increasing the risk of a fire. Hyundai said it is not aware of any fires caused by the issue.

The Repair: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel tubes, as necessary, for free.

LINCOLN

Affected Lincolns: Approximately 2,300 model-year 2019 Lincoln Nautilus SUVs equipped with lane-centering assist and adaptive front steering

The Issue: The vehicle may not adequately detect if a driver has their hands off the steering wheel, which could lead to the hands on/off detection system not alerting the driver to place their hands back on the steering wheel, increasing the risk of a crash. Lincoln manufacturer Ford said it is not aware of any related accidents or injuries.

The Repair: Dealers will update the power steering control module software for free.
