The enhanced 2026 Kia Sportage will hit the road in the first half of this year. Ahead of its arrival, Kia is sharing pricing info for the gas-only lineup, along with major model year updates for its most popular vehicle.
For 2026, the Sportage undergoes its most significant change since the fifth-generation model launched three years ago. Updates include bolder exterior styling with a new front-end design that features Kia's star map lighting with distinctive amber daytime running lights. Other new design elements also include redesigned front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, and new exterior paint colors.

The Sportage's modern cabin is updated with newly available cabin colors and finishing accents along with new two-tone steering wheel designs. Updated standard or available technology includes:
- A standard 12.3-inch LCD display, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with Kia Connect, (depending on trim).
- All-new available 10-inch Head-up Display (HUD)
- Standard Smart Key with push button start offers remote start
- Dual Rear USB-C charging
Advanced Driver Assistance features include standard Forward Collision Avoidance plus Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, standard Hands-On Detection and standard Forward and Reverse Park Distance Warning.
X-Line, X-Pro and all models equipped with all-wheel drive gain standard Terrain Mode (Snow, Mud, Sand).
