The Most Expensive Cars Sold A Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

Barrett-Jackson is sharing the results of its 2026 Scottsdale Auction. It delivered a strong opening to the new year, underscoring continued confidence in the collector-car market. The event, held Jan. 17–25 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, marked the auction company’s 54th year and drew more than 6,500 registered bidders. Over the course of the week, 1,911 vehicles crossed the block, generating more than $195 million in sales and achieving a 100 percent sell-through rate.

Charity remained a central focus of the Scottsdale auction, with $5,855,000 raised through the sale of nine vehicles. The top charity sale was a one-of-one 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Limited Edition, which sold for $2.6 million, along with an additional $5,000 donation from the Scottsdale Fire Department, bringing the total to $2,605,000. Other charity vehicles included a 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Track Pack Special Edition VIN 001 that sold for $1.25 million and a 2005 Ford GT that brought $550,000.

The charity lineup also featured a 1972 Chevrolet C50 Custom Pickup that sold for $200,000 before being immediately donated back and resold three additional times, ultimately raising a total of $875,000. Additional charity sales included a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Custom SUV at $110,000, a 2004 AM General Humvee M1152A1 at $75,000, a 1965 Ford Mustang Custom Convertible that sold for $100,000 plus an additional $10,000 donation, a 2025 Indian Sport Chief RT motorcycle at $180,000, and a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom Coupe at $100,000.

The Scottsdale Auction raised $5,855,000 for charity through the sale of nine vehicles, which included:
• One-of-one 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Limited Edition, $2,605,000 total including additional donation
• 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Track Pack Special Edition VIN 001, $1,250,000
• 2005 Ford GT, $550,000
• 1972 Chevrolet C50 Custom Pickup, $875,000 total through multiple sales
• 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Custom SUV, $110,000
• 2004 AM General Humvee M1152A1, $75,000
• 1965 Ford Mustang Custom Convertible, $110,000 total including additional donation
• 2025 Indian Sport Chief RT motorcycle, $180,000
• 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom Coupe, $100,000

Seven-figure collector vehicles again anchored the auction, with top sales including a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe at $2.53 million, a 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster and a 2019 McLaren Senna that each sold for $1.87 million, and a 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO that reached $1.62 million. Several modern supercars and heritage performance vehicles also eclipsed the $1 million mark during the week.

 

 

Celebrity-owned vehicles added additional interest and energy to the auction lanes. Vehicles that crossed the block in Scottsdale this year included:
• Linda Perry’s 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible
• Kevin Hart’s 2024 Ford Bronco Custom SUV
• David Spade’s 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT custom pickup
• A 2017 Ford GT formerly owned by Tim Allen
• A 2010 Land Rover Range Rover HSE formerly owned by Jennifer Aniston

• 1966 Lincoln Continental Custom Convertible - $1,100,000
• 2023 Porsche Brabus 900 Rocket R - $1,100,000
• 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 “Big Tank” Split-Window Coupe - $1,100,000
• 2022 Ford GT - $1,100,000

 

The week began with Barrett-Jackson’s third annual Rock The Block concert, featuring a headlining performance by country artist Cole Swindell. The Barrett-Jackson Cup Parade showcased 50 custom vehicles, with a classic Chevrolet Impala earning top honors and a vintage Corvette taking home the People’s Choice award.

Automobilia continued to gain traction, with rare gasoline pumps, vintage neon signage, and period-correct memorabilia drawing strong bidding. A total of 949 automobilia items sold for $4.7 million during the auction, reflecting growing collector interest beyond vehicles alone.

Next up is Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction in April, followed by events in Columbus, Ohio, and Las Vegas later in the year.
