Audi is introducing the all-new 2027 Q7 - and we're happy to report the exciting news that it will bring Audi's available Digital Matrix Lighting in the U.S.!
Yes, for the first time in the U.S., adaptive driving beam (ADB) Digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED modules enabling matrix technology will be available. Audi says the new headlights directly project outstanding high-resolution light illumination and reduce glare for vulnerable road users. Each headlight adapts in real time using approximately 25,600 individually controllable micro-LEDs.
Another notable new feature for the all-new Q7 is an available illuminated panoramic sunroof with switchable transparency, something we've seen in other Audi new models.
Audi says the new Q7 will deliver best-in-class 0-60 performance thanks to two available powertrains in the U.S. A 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 gas engine produces 429 horsepower and 442 lb-ft which helps it accelerate to 60 mph in 4.8 sec. SQ7 models benefit from a 4.0-liter bi-turbo gas V8 producing 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft, capable of sprints to 60 mph in 3.7 sec.

The Q7 comes standard with seven seats, allowing for the installation of three child seats in the second row. For the first time, second-row Captain’s Chairs are an available option which transform it into a 6 seater. The cabin's new center console features an open poor wood trim, a dual smartphone charger and two extra-large cup holders.
Other features include standard sport seats, an available passenger display, available Bang & Olufsen 4D sound and available Remote Park Assist Pro.
In terms of cargo space, there is 15.1 cu. ft. trunk behind the third row. Behind the second row, up to 43.9 cu. ft. If you fold down the second-row, space expands up to 78.1 cu. ft. behind the first row.
The new Q7 also updates its digital OLED tail lights and the Audi Q7 now offers up to eight digital light signatures for the taillights and headlights, something we see on other recently redesigned Audis. Audi says the digital OLED panels, with more segments than in previous generations, enable captivating designs with three-dimensional effects in the taillight signatures.
Another new feature for the Q7 is an available projection light in the doors. On Q7 Launch Edition and SQ7 models fit with the optional Luxury Package, when the driver’s and front passenger’s doors are opened, a white rhombus unfurls on the ground, welcoming the passengers and lighting the path to the vehicle. The Launch Edition also features a black optic exterior with anthracite Audi rings, 22-inch wheels and red brake calipers.
Availability
The all-new Q7 model family will be available later this year and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
