The 2025 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) will celebrate a milestone when it kicks off on Friday - its 125th anniversary!
"This year's poster pays tribute to the New York Auto Show's incredible 125-year history while looking ahead to the future of mobility. From its beginnings at Madison Square Garden in 1900 to today's high-tech showcase at the Javits Center, the Show has always been about progress, and this design reflects that journey," said Mark Schienberg, New York Auto Show President.
Celebrations include a special exhibit that features a collection of vintage, classic, and iconic cars that spans over a century. Show organizers say the journey through time showcases the evolution of the automobile and the pivotal role the New York Auto Show has played in shaping the industry.
Other show highlights include the debut of the all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade, the all-new Kia K4, along with first-ever 2026 Subaru Trailseeker, all-new 2026 Subaru Outback and all-new Solterra.
History of the New York Auto Show
The New York Auto Show, The First Annual Automobile Show as it was called then, was the first auto show in North America, and set the stage for the industry's evolution, introducing groundbreaking technologies from the first mass-produced cars to the earliest electric vehicles over a century ago.

Held in 1900 in the original Madison Square Garden, the show's debut year featured over 160 vehicles on display and attracted 50,000 visitors.
