Q: Is CarMax a good place to buy a car?

If you're looking for the best deal on a used vehicle, I'd just have to say no. CarMax has built much of its appeal around convenience and no-haggle pricing. If you truly don't like negotiating, go for it. But don't mistake no-haggle pricing for bargain pricing. Traditional dealerships can offer a comparable vehicle for less money, fewer miles and in some cases manufacturer-backed certified warranty coverage.
