Final Two Days Of October Are Here-Incentives Go Thru Monday

Written By: Jerry Reynolds | Oct 30, 2026, 10:16:26 AM

We’ve seen a TON of incentive enhancements since about the 21st of this month. I’ve seen rebates go higher and a lot of movement to lower interest rates. Check our incentive guide here, but here in the Texas market, Toyota put on 1.99% APR for 60 months on Tundra, and Ford went full 0% APR for 60 months on F-150, Explorer, some Super Duty trucks, and as a bonus they threw in no payments for 90 days. Many of the other automakers added enhancements, too. With the 31st being on a Saturday, the incentives go through Monday night.

Why You Should Shop This Weekend If You Can:

For whatever reason, I am consistently hearing from Car Pro Dealers that they are behind in their forecasts. Maybe it’s the intense political season we are in, maybe it’s gas prices, who knows? But the dealers are eager to make deals. The pressure gets intense to make your numbers, I remember this all too well from my days in the car biz. Manager’s and salespeople are worried about making their bonuses, the factory reps are pounding on you, and you pull out all the stops.

If you have a trade-in, dealers are clamoring for used cars. You can get more than fair market value for them this weekend. Dealers fight for credit approvals, even for those with bruised credit. They fight for the best interest rate possible…anything to make a deal come together.

BOTTOM LINE:

EVERYTHING is lined up for those that can shop today and tomorrow, even Monday, but primarily the push is on until tomorrow night. To make it worse, tomorrow is Halloween and the dealers know shoppers with kids have to be home for trick or treaters.

Remember too, at least for now you can write interest off on your taxes for 2026, and you self-employed and business owners, Tax Code 179 awaits and you might want to make that move now instead of December. There is something for everybody and we’ve got all the latest changes to the laws below, don’t miss out.
