Toyota is giving a nod to the '80s with the new 2026 Corolla Hatchback FX special edition. The throwback to the legendary FX16 is limited to 1,600 for the U.S. and it's due to arrive in CarPro dealerships in the fall.
Based on the SE Grade, the FX Edition rides on 18-inch Gloss White-Finished Alloy Wheels with black lug nuts. A black vented sport wing with an aggressive flair improves aerodynamics and a heritage-inspired rear badge is reminiscent of the original FX16 from the 80s. Take your pick of three colors: Ice Cap, Inferno and Blue Crush Metallic.
Inside, the Corolla Hatchback FX showcases new black Sport Touring Seats with suede inserts and orange stitching. The bright stitching continues on the door panels, steering wheel, and shifter boot. Standard tech features include with a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and a wireless charger .

Of course you can expect Toyota's great Audio Multimedia system with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio, SiriusX An AT&T Hotspot is available, as well. It will also feature standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
The FX Edition is powered by the Corolla's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. It delivers a manufacturer-estimated 33 combined MPG rating.
