You know a movie is a global sensation when Lexus custom-wraps a vehicle in its honor. Such is the case with Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good. To celebrate the film's recent New York premiere, Lexus unveiled a character-themed custom-wrapped vehicle inspired by the movie's iconic witches of Oz. The Wicked: For Good Karaoke LX invited fans to unleash their inner star by singing along to Wicked’s beloved anthems. Check out the special LX here or below.
“With the Wicked: For Good Karaoke LX, Lexus set out to create more than a vehicle – we created an experience that celebrates imagination, artistry and self-expression,” said Lisa McQueen, senior manager, Lexus marketing. “The vehicle captures the spirit of Wicked’s Oz with bold design and craftmanship, inviting fans to ‘Experience OZmazing.’”
Lexus says the special custom-wrapped SUV draws inspiration from the film’s architecture and the transformative relationship of Elphaba and Glinda, and showcases the enchanting beauty found within the Emerald City. Its dazzling pink and deep emerald-green exterior is adorned with shimmering gold accents, badging and wheels. It even sports a custom Wicked: For Good vanity plate. Inside, the pink and green them continues in the cabin's upholstered seats, mood lighting zones, and custom floor mats. There is also an interactive sound system experience designed for group sing-alongs.
