It's an exciting time for Ram Truck fans.  The new 2026 Ram 1500 HEMI is now shipping to dealers!  It was just three months ago Ram announced the return of the HEMI V-8 to the 1500 lineup. Ram says its team managed the 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 eTorque's return in record time, and it sure seems like it.

“When we announced the return of the legendary HEMI for the Ram 1500 in June, we received 10,000 orders in the first 24 hours, proving that we made the right decision to bring back this iconic engine for this truck,” said Tim Kuniskis, CEO, Ram brand. “The return of the HEMI was managed in record time by the Ram team and the employees at SHAP.”

“The SHAP team is as excited as our customers about the return of the HEMI,” said Chuck Padden, vice president and plant manager at SHAP. “There is a buzz around the building. They were eager to get back to work on it and to get it to our customers as quickly as possible.”

Ram designers also created a new Ram "Symbol of Protest" badge that you'll find on the fender of every 2026 Ram 1500 Hemi.

The HEMI engine is available in 2026 model-year Ram 1500 Tradesman, Big Horn, Express, Warlock, Laramie, Rebel (with late availability), Limited and Longhorn.

RHO Debuts New Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust

Ram also recently announced the debut of two new MagnaFlow exhaust options for the Ram 1500 RHO: the expertly tuned SPEQ Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System, or customizable xMOD Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System. Ram says both offer inspired sound, increased flow and all-out performance.

“Our customers told us they want more attitude from the Ram 1500 RHO, and we’re here to give it to them,” said Tim Kuniskis, CEO, Ram brand. “Performance isn’t just about horsepower and torque, it’s about the full sensory experience. With our new MagnaFlow exhaust options, we’re handing drivers the volume knob and letting them crank it to 11.”

They were developed as a collaboration between Ram and MagnaFlow, a leader in performance exhaust technology.
