2025 Kia K5 Sedan Starts At Just $26,990

Kia is sharing pricing info for the 2025 Kia K5. The mid-size sedan arrives in the second quarter with a starting MSRP of under $27,000. For 2025, the K5 features a new engine, drivetrain refinements and tech updates across its four trim levels: LXS, GT-Line (in front- or all-wheel drive), EX and the turbocharged GT. 

New for 2025

Exterior updates include new front and rear designs, wheels and refreshed headlights.

The lineup also gets a horsepower boost under the hood thanks to a new 2.5-liter normally aspirated engine that replaces a 1.5-turbo.  The swap results in 191-horsepower, up 11 from the outgoing engine, along with 181 pound-feet of torque. The new engine, standard on the: LXS, GT-Line, is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.   All-wheel drive is available on the GT-Line.

You'll still get the most power with the GT. It's powertrain remains unchanged for 2025. Producing 290-horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is mated to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission that drives the front wheels.

Other 2025 updates include more standard features across the lineup with a focus on the popular EX trim. Standard items for the EX include a Bose Premium Audio System with Active Sound Design, a 10-way powered driver’s seat includes two-way lumbar support. Digital Key 2.0 heated steering wheel, and power folding mirrors with integrated LED turn signals are also all standard on the EX.

In the tech department, a new available single-pane curved display houses the 12-inch instrument screen and a new standard 12.3-inch touchscreen navigation unit.  The multimedia system is compatible with now standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Kia also says its new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system processes faster and in higher fidelity, with frequently used Quick Controls available with a swipe on the screen. Over The Air updates are also now available. Blind Spot Monitor is also newly available.
