2023 Kia Soul Pricing Starts At Under $20,000

Kia is updating the Kia Soul for 2023, making some design tweaks, adding new colors and option packages. The lineup is simplified as well.  It's down to four trims - with the X-Line and Turbo models being discontinued for 2023.

Here's a list of the trim levels and pricing which starts from $19,790, excluding destination.

New for 2023


For 2023, the Soul gets an updated front end with a new grill, available LED headlights, redesigned fog lights and new daytime running lamps. Kia also redesigned the rear fascia and taillights. New 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels are also available. Two new two-tone paint hues join the color options: Clear White with Fusion Black roof and Surf Blue with a Fusion Black roof.

In the cabin, you'll find a new10.25-inch (standard on all but LX trim) touchscreen with navigation.

Safety


The Soul lineup is equipped with with six standard ADAS collision avoidance and safety assist features:

  • Forward Collision Avoidance Assist-Pedestrian 
  • Lane Keeping Assist + Lane Following Assist
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • High Beam Assist
  • Rear Occupant Alert 

:An LX Technology Package adds Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance and Rear-Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance.

GT-Line Package


A GT-Line Technology Package adds heated front seats and a Harman/Kardon premium sound system accessed through the 10.25-inch color touchscreen. Multi-colored LED speaker lights pulse in time with the tunes. It also includes:

  • Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning capability (radar + camera type)
  • Highway Drive Assist
  • Navigation based Smart Cruise Control
  • Electronic Parking Brake
  • Power driver seat
  • High-gloss interior trim
  • LED headlights and taillights
  • Cargo Cover
  • Dual-level cargo floor

Powertrain


All trims share a 2.0-liter inline four cylinder engine that produces 147-horsepower and132 lb.-ft- of torque through the front wheels. Kia's Intelligent Variable Transmission is standard across all variants.
