"This year marks a significant milestone for the Wards 10 Best Interiors and UX awards,” says WardsAuto Editor Drew Winter. “With 50% of our winners being battery-electric vehicles, this tells us the interiors of these models now are as awe-inspiring as their 0-60 mph performance time. Automakers are creating beautiful cabins in these vehicles that combine great new ideas with timeless designs from the past, plus packing them with great advanced technologies such as augmented reality.”

Grand Wagoneer
"The sheer artistry of the Jeep® brand's lavish new interiors is breathtaking," said Wards Editor Drew Winter. "The Grand Wagoneer easily earns its way into the six-figure SUV club on the power of its interior design."
"With first-rate, sophisticated materials, such as Blue Agave leather and textured metal trim, plus loads of tech features, including seven stunning high-res screens and an industry-first integration of Amazon Fire TV, the most luxurious Jeep yet is a unanimous choice for a 2022 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX award," said Wards Editor Christie Schweinsberg.

Toyota Tundra
“The luxurious Toyota Tundra Capstone makes our 2022 list by capably combining space, comfort and technology,” says WardsAuto editor and judge Jim Irwin. “We loved the black-and-white interior color scheme, plus blue ambient lighting and high-tech features including a 14-inch touchscreen running Toyota’s new multimedia system.”
Added Christie Schweinsberg, WardsAuto editor and judge: “Our judges found the new MMI system less overwhelming to use than similar systems by other OEMs, thanks to simplified menus and large icons, both making for easy operation. The 10-inch head-up display also was a tech standout in the Tundra.
VW Golf GTI
“Volkswagen’s Golf GTI lands on our 2022 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list by fusing core hot-hatch styling, classic GTI identity and high-tech amenities and design cues into what is a relatively affordable package,” says WardsAuto Editor and 10 Best Judge David Zoia of the $36,820 SE test vehicle. Adds fellow Editor and 10 Best Judge Christie Schweinsberg: “The GTI’s iconic plaid seats, plus light-up door handles, multicolor ambient lighting and Digital Cockpit Pro make this car a winner.”
