All you hear about in ads are EVs and with so many auto manufacturers bringing out new electric vehicles I asked Consumer Reports’ Chris Harto if any of the manufacturers are ahead of the pack and here’s what he said. Harto:  "It's kind of a horse race right now.  Everybody's building new cars, announcing new cars, Ford's got some really cool EVs out there right now with the Mustang Mach-E, and the Ford Lightning, I drove one a few months ago, it was really cool.  But GM has a lot of new EVs coming out in the next year of two. They have an Equinox EV that's gonna start at $30,000 which is only a few thousand dollars more than the gasoline equivelant version of that vehicle. So there's a lot of cool stuff coming out. I really love the Kia EV6 which is kind of a SUV-ish kind of crossover that I really enjoy. But there's all kinds of cool vehicles coming out. Every automaker is you know bringing their A game." With today's auto news,. I'm Laura Reynolds.
