Nissan will be using two battery electric vehicle, BEV, heavy-duty, Class A trucks to transport the 2023 Nissan Ariya to Los Angeles dealerships. These car hauler trucks will help Nissan understand more about the use of all-electric trucks. Nissan North America VP Supply Chain Management Chris Styles says quote “Exploring the use of BEV trucks for new vehicle delivery is an important milestone in our journey toward carbon neutrality throughout our business," Styles continues, "By being an early adopter of this technology, we're showcasing our innovative spirit and positioning ourselves to meet our long-term goals for zero-tailpipe-emission transportation." End quote. Nissan is one of the first automakers to use all-electric heavy-duty trucks to transport new vehicles to dealerships. It’s all part of Nissan’s goals of achieving carbon neutrality across its operations by 2050.  For more information on these and other vehicles, check out CarPro.com. With Today’s Auto News, I’m Laura Reynolds.
