CENTER CONSOLE PAY PEEL CAUSING SHARP EDGES
Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Expedition vehicles. The chrome plating on the center console may bubble and peel, resulting in sharp edges.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the center consoles as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in January 2027. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S38. ENGINE STALL FROM CANISTER PURGE VALVE MALFUNCTION
Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2012-2018 Focus vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 18V735. The Canister Purge Valve (CPV) may malfunction, causing the engine to stall unexpectedly while driving.
Remedy
Dealers will update the powertrain control module (PCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 6, 2026. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILURE
Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017 F-150 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 17V053. The instrument cluster may lose power after initial vehicle start-up in cold ambient temperatures. Several gauges, including the transmission gear position indicator, may not illuminate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect."
Remedy
Dealers will update the Instrument Panel Cluster Assembly (IPC) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 6. 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C26. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MAY GO BLANK ON START-UP
Summary
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019 Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 19V076. At vehicle start-up, the Instrument Panel Cluster Assembly (IPC) may not function, showing a blank display. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Remedy
Dealers will reprogram the Instrument Panel Cluster Assembly (IPC) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 6. 2026. Owners may contact customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C27. SOFTWARE MAY ALLOW A VEHICLE TO ENTER AND DRIVE IN FREEWAY CONSTRUCTION ZONES
Summary
Waymo LLC (Waymo) is recalling certain 5th Generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). The software may allow the vehicle to enter a closed freeway construction zone and continue driving at speed.
Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. In the interim, Waymo modified the scope of vehicle operations to restrict freeway driving. Waymo will update the ADS software to detect when the vehicle is in and to avoid entering construction zones, free of charge.
