June 27, 2025
Dear CarPro Family,
Happy Friday friends! It is a critical 10 days coming up for those of you who want to get a new vehicle in 2025. It is the end of June, the end of the second quarter, and coming right up, the end of the pre-tariff priced vehicles. I give you all the info below on why this is such an important time to save money.
If you missed my interview with Fox News Channel’s Car Gal Emily Compagno, star of Outnumbered, accomplished Attorney and celebrated author, I have the audio for you in our lead story. She was just as delightful as she seems on your TV, and you can tell she has a serious love affair with her beloved 1972 Ford Mach 1. Also below, the latest on the tariffs, and another edition of Quick Shifts, a humorous look at happenings involving automobiles.
In just a few of the other articles below, you can get your tires and air pressure checked for free at Discount Tire, Ram ups the ante in the truck wars with a 10-year/100,000 mile warranty, and not just on half-ton trucks. If you are familiar with Copart Auctions, based out of Dallas, they are going to have to defend themselves in a lawsuit alleging gender discrimination, and which cars are the most American? The list may surprise you.
In car reviews, I have the 2025 Lexus TX 350 F Sport Handling. I admitted on air last Saturday that thanks to a scheduling foul-up, Amy and I reviewed the exact same vehicle back to back. She sure doesn’t want to review my other vehicle this week, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter passenger van. It is HUGE, but very nice actually. In our third review, Amy Plemons gives brings you the 2025 Lexus GX 550. In advice, I warn you that when it comes to cars, all sales are final. We have a lot more for you I didn’t mention, plus some great tech tips from Kim Komando, my video of the week AND Todd has an entry for video-of-the-week.
Plus, lots of other information you will likely enjoy, including my video of the week which is always one of the most clicked on items in the newsletter. If you haven’t perused my FAQ page, please do. There are likely multiple articles you can use, every one of them written by me.
Check the recall section to see if you may need to take action on your vehicle. Miss a radio show? Below we tell you how to get the podcast, and if you missed a newsletter, we tell you how to find the archive page where you can see the last 10 editions. The incentives have gone up lately, but our Incentive Guide is always 100% up to date.
We very much appreciate you being part of the newsletter family. Without you, there is no Car Pro Show. Let us know how we can help you, and if you haven’t been to our website lately, check it out at CarPro.com. It changes daily.
Have a terrific week. See you on the radio!
