The 2025 North Texas Auto Expo - being dubbed the premier showcase of innovation and technology for everyone - is underway now! “This showcase has it all, new cars, new trucks, new food & new fun,” said Don Herring, Jr., North Texas Automobile Dealers (NTXAD) Board Chairman. “Technology is making every drive better – and safer. This is such a great event; it’s got something for everyone. It’s always great to see how much fun everyone has – it’s a tradition for so many people. This year, we’re proud to welcome the U.S. Army, which will have a special booth displaying some of its unique vehicles. Every day is family day at the North Texas Auto Expo!”
The 2025 North Texas Auto Expo is a family-friendly destination, with interactive experiences for all ages – including The Indoor EV Test Track for Kids Courtesy of Weir Commercial Construction, and a kid-friendly dining area, new at this year’s expo! Whether you’re dreaming of luxury, shopping for an everyday ride, or simply looking for a fun family outing, this year’s expo has more choices, technology, and opportunity for consumers than ever.
“There is a lot of interest in buying a vehicle right now and there couldn’t be a better time," said C. Brent Franks, NTXAD President. “Dealers across North Texas have more inventory to choose from than they’ve had in years and incentives & rebates are available on many of the newest models, so there’s been a surge in activity to shop & compare models this year.”
The Car Pro Show will be there on Saturday, February 22nd from 9 AM to 2 PM Central broadcasting LIVE. Come by and say Hi to Todd Chambless and me, and our Amy Plemons will be taking pictures and video. Also there will be the engineering staff and the promotions team from WBAP.

Beyond the excitement of the showroom floor, the North Texas Auto Expo serves as a hub for learning and innovation. This year, hundreds of high school students aspiring to join the industry will attend a private session with Tony Pack, Sam Pack Auto Group, and World Champion Drag Racer Steve Johnson, offering inspiration and insight into automotive careers.
Addressing the growing trend of auto theft is also a focus. Law enforcement officers from across North Texas will receive specialized training to detect frauds and prevent millions of dollars in vehicle theft, courtesy of the North Texas Automobile Dealers Association. Consumers can also explore the latest in vehicle security measures and anti-theft innovations by talking with product experts.
We'll see you at the show!
