 December 12, 2025
Dear Car Pro Family,
HAPPY Friday friends, I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. We have a ton of info for you today. If you are self-employed or you own a business of any size, you need to read my Tax Code 179 section and take the entire purchase price of your new vehicle off on your 2025 taxes. You must sign paperwork by December 31st of this year.
In articles today, I tell you which car brands Americans are talking about the most. I also tell you about a driverless Robotaxi that drove right into a crime scene. A lady says she traded in her vehicle to a dealership, but her paperwork says otherwise, so she has two car payments, and do you believe sweet little Danica Patrick when she tells you how good Endurance warranties are? Well don’t. The U.S. Postal Service has spent $3 billion dollars on electric delivery vans, but only 612 are in use. That’s your tax dollars at work kids!
Kim Komando has some cool tech tips this week and don’t miss Kim’s Fun Quiz, the answer is at the very bottom of this newsletter, under my closing message, which is titled: The Unsung Heroes of the Car Business and I hope you’ll go to the bottom and read it. It is a tribute to the GOOD car salespeople out there, and there are a lot of them.
I have a whole new batch of quirky and funny Quick Shift stories for you today, and don’t forget to go shopping in the Car Pro Merch shop, lots of good stuff there. Get caught up on the tariff news! In advice today, I give you end of the year buying tips. It’s a little different in December and I arm you with what to do and what to expect.
In car reviews, I had a beautiful 2025 Audi S5 Edition One sedan and it is a speedster. I also spent time with the 2026 Nissan Kicks SUV. Our Amy Plemons gives you an in-depth look at the 2026 Toyota Prius Nightshade plug-in hybrid.
If you have never read my True Stories from a Former Car Dealer series, may I suggest you do so. People have loved this for a lot of years now. You’ll learn more about me than you probably want to know, you’ll roar with laughter at some, and you’ll likely get a tear in your eyes on others. They are all right here, 40 of them, carefully written by yours truly.
If you haven’t perused my FAQ page, please do. There are likely multiple articles you can use, every one of them written by me.
ll of our other regular features are below including the Classic Car Contest, our radio station listings, how to connect with us on Facebook and call the show to talk directly to me, and much, much, more.
We very much appreciate you being part of the newsletter family. Without you, there is no Car Pro Show. Let us know how we can help you, and if you haven’t been to our website lately, check it out at CarPro.com. It changes daily.
Have a terrific week. See you on the radio!
