Mecum Auctions is sharing the results of Mecum Glendale 2026, a five-day event that wrapped up March 21st. More than 1,300 vehicles and multiple collections crossed the block totaling $47 million in sales with a 70% sell-through rate. Mecum says with the Bid Goes On department still closing deals, it expects these numbers are expected to climb even higher in the coming days.
A striking red 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra Roadster, Serial No. CSX3355 was the top-seller, gaveling for $1,842,500. In second place, a 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400, one of only six produced in Verde Miura, sold for $1.705 million. A black 1959 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster rounded out the top three highest-dollar sales, gaveling for $907,500.
Vintage roadsters dominated the lineup, highlighted by Select Vehicles from the Petersen Automotive Museum collection, which featured a range of rare Hot Rodded 1930s-era Fords. The entire collection brought in over $400,000, with the top lot, the 1933 Ford Roadster known as “Impact,” selling for $106,700. Other notable roadster sales included a 1953 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster at $368,500 and a 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX4000 Series Roadster that sold for $330,000.
