The 2026 Toyota Crown Sedan 

I will admit I was somewhat smitten with the Crown Sedan I reviewed back in 2023.  It was unique, pretty, had some SUV qualities to it like the ride height, and I always tend to really like something that looks a bit out of the ordinary.  Let’s face it, so many sedans these days are boring, and this was a breath of fresh air for me since I am more of a car guy than an SUV guy. - Car Pro Show Host Jerry Reynolds

Toyota is highlighting the 2026 Toyota Crown.  This marks the third year of Toyota's hybrid-only sedan-slash-SUV For 2026, it's available in four different grades: XLE, Limited, Nightshade, and the range-topping Platinum.   

New for 2026, Finish Line Red ($425) replaces Sonic Red in the color lineup.   Finish Line Red with Black bi-tone will run you $975. Also new this year, the Smart Key System is standard across the lineup instead of just the top three trims.

The lineup still offers two powertrains. The Hybrid MAX, exclusive to the Platinum grade, impresses with its 340-horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.  The Toyota Hybrid System (THS) is standard on all the other grades and offers an EPA-estimated 41 MPG Combined Rating.

Toyota Audio Multimedia with a A 12.3-inch touchscreen features and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 are both standard across the Crown lineup.
