Here's a fun way to get a custom license plate if you live in Texas.  Bid on one! The [*My Plates Great Plate Auction of 2024*](https://www.proxibid.com/MyPlates-com/My-Plates-Great-Plate-Auction-2024/event-catalog/269156?srch=&srchloc=true&ipp=50&sort=4) is currently underway.  Texans have the chance to bid on 50 select, highly sought-after license plate messages.

Texas license plate messages include rare letter combinations, pure numbers, Texas themes, College, Sports and other one-of-a-kind plate messages. Here's a look at some of the plates up for grabs:

Bidding started on October 18th and ends November 20th at 8pm, 2024. All plates come with an initial 5-year term, owner first rights to renew, and are fully transferable (which means the lot winner can gift the plate message to a friend or family member or sell it later to someone for a profit).
