Order books are now open for Ram's newest off-road pickup: the 2026 Ram 1500 BackCountry. Blacked-out and trail-tuned,  BackCountry is based on the Big Horn 4X4 Crew Cab and slots between the entry-level Warlock and premium Rebel trims. It adds off-road capability and distinctive factory customized exterior styling and is priced starting at $62,410 (including destination).

“The offroad segment has been growing for a while now and Ram has been leading that charge with Warlock, Rebel, RHO and TRX,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, NA Marketing and Retail Strategy. “BackCountry is another option from Ram for customers looking to get into this growing part of the market without breaking the bank.”

BackCountry rides on Satin Black wheels. The exterior sports body-colored accents and a grille surround along with black-painted lower-body and bumpers, contrast black fender flares.

The cabin is outfitted with durable black vinyl bucket seats with alloy printed mesh inserts, standard front and rear allweather rubber floor mats and BackCountry badging on the passenger-side instrument panel. It's also equipped with a MOLLE panel seatback storage system.
