October’s Top 20 Best-Selling Passenger Cars

Car sales are a bit of a mixed bag this year.  For the year, through October, sales are up and substantially.  However, for October 2021 versus October 2020, all but five of the top 20 passenger car sales are down.  This is another byproduct of the microchip shortage we weren’t dealing with a year ago.

Year-to-date, Camry has a 40,000-unit lead over #2 Honda Civic, and a 100,000-unit lead over #4 Honda Accord.  There is no doubt Camry will once again be the #1 selling car in America.

Here are your top 20 best-selling passenger cars in October 2021 from automakers who report monthly, and how they did versus October 2020:
