Kia Corporation is announcing a new collaboration with Disney. The themes offer a wide range of immersive experiences inspired by the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and Star Wars.  Each one integrates distinctive graphics and design elements which Kia says allows fans to experience artwork of their favorite Disney characters in a new and immersive way.

“This collaboration with Disney represents a ground-breaking use of our digital and over-the-air systems to allow owners to customize not just the appearance, but the personality of their vehicles with the art of characters from some of the most beloved cinematic worlds ever created,” said Charles Ryu, Senior Vice President and Head of Kia’s Global Brand & CX Division. “Kia aims to establish itself as the industry’s most approachable mobility brand both through its innovative product design and the advanced use of smart technology.”

Kia first introduced display theme options in 2024, when Kia America launched custom NBA screen elements for the EV9.  Kia says its new partnership with Disney significantly expands this concept with a broader range of content designed to appeal to fans of all ages.

Five Disney franchise themes will roll out by 2025, including Frozen and Disney's Mickey & Friends which you can see in the Kia Connect store now.  Star Wars is also set to release this year. Kia says up to 30 individual themes will be available by the end of 2026.  The Kia Connect store has a dedicated Disney section, where users can access and purchase the available themes.
