Jeep is tapping into AI in its newly launched marketing campaign for the new 2026 Grand Cherokee. Its new "Wild Thoughts" campaign shows animals in the wild highlighting features of the three-row SUV. The AI-generated content, created by 1986 Studios, is pretty clever, with animals giving their unfiltered reviews in a short "Wild Thoughts" film. From mountain lions, moose, squirrels and bears to owls, turtles, wolves and geese, the animals weigh in on the new model. (Jeep says no animals were harmed in this film which uses AI-generated visual effects.)
“Our ‘Wild Thoughts’ campaign for the new 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee was developed with a playful tone designed for social media consumption,” said Olivier Francois, global chief marketing officer, Stellantis. “In this instance, we decided to let nature do the talking for one of the world’s most iconic adventure brands and the most awarded SUV ever, using humor to cleverly call out the Jeep Grand Cherokee's capability and luxury in a memorable way. While we launch with a long-form reveal video, the creative seamlessly allows shorter cut-downs to run across social media channels that will focus specifically on each animal/attribute of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, widening the scope and appeal of the campaign.”
New available or standard features of the three-row 2026 Grand Cherokee include a new 2.0L Hurricane 4 Turbo engine, heated front- and second-row seats, premium 19-speaker audio system, real walnut wood trim, best-in-class second-row legroom, and a driving range of 529 miles. There is also a class-exclusive available, front passenger, interactive touchscreen display. Jeep says it has the most standard safety and security features in its class.
The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee will continue to offer a two-row, three-row Grand Cherokee L and plug-in hybrid options. The brand is simplifying the lineup this year with just three trims: Lardeo, Limited and Summit.
The SUV will be built at both Stellantis’ Detroit Assembly Complex Jefferson and Mack plants. No pricing info yet for the Hurricane 4 Turbo-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee.
