Maserati, Mattel and Neiman Marcus are teaming up to offer an SUV that will most certainly draw its share of its attention on the road -- the Barbie X Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV. The one-of-a-kind bespoke version of the Grecale is a Fantasy Gift item in the 2022 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. In its description, Neiman Marcus describes the SUV as a "work of art you can take on the road."
The SUV is inspired by the pink phenomenon known as “Barbiecore.” It's awash in the iconic Barbie pink hue, which is sealed with an iridescent topcoat giving it a rainbow effect. Inside, the cabin features black leather seats with pink leather accents. Even the doors are treated to pink stitching. The headrests also play their part - featuring signature “B” badging.
The vehicle also pays tribute to the past. In honor of the Maserati 250F design and vintage Barbie-doll packaging, fine lines in a vibrant, acid-yellow color adorn the Maserati Fuoriserie logo and air vents. Neiman Marcus and Barbie logos are presented in glossy black.
In terms of power, the Grecale is outfitted with a 530-horsepower Nettuno V6 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
There are only three of these custom SUVs in existence, worldwide. This is a U.S. exclusive bespoke model and the only one that will include Neiman Marcus–branded finishes.
