It's time to get excited again about the Dodge brand! The automaker is launching a new Dodge Badassador program to search for fresh talent who will introduce the next-generation of Dodge muscle. The new program is surely part of efforts to revitalize the storied brand in the wake of the December departure of Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares.
"I just have to say one thing: It is SO good to see Dodge having fun again!," said Car Pro Show host Jerry Reynolds. "This is what this car company does, at least without Carlos Tavares at the top and it is incredibly refreshing! Here is a great example."
The automaker says select Badassadors may have the opportunity to travel to events across the country like auto shows, vehicle launches and first drivers, along with enthusiasts events, NHRA drag races and more. There are of course perks, too, including access to the full Dodge portfolio, including the 496-horsepower Charger Daytona R/T, the 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, the most powerful gas engine SUV ever, and the 288-horsepower Dodge Hornet R/T with PowerShot.
“We continue to push the boundaries of performance, and we’re looking for brand ambassadors who are also ready to shake up the status quo,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO. “If Dodge isn’t pushing boundaries, if Dodge isn’t making people uncomfortable, we wouldn’t be Dodge, and those are the kind of ambassadors the brand is looking for: enthusiasts who disrupt, who will stand out and shine a light on the next generation of Dodge muscle.”
Badassador perks include:
