I’m Laura Reynolds with CarPro.com. Ford Maverick Marketing Manager Trevor Scott talks about the Ford Maverick Tremor Off-Road package and why Ford chose the orange accents. Scott: "We didn't want it to be polarizing. I'd say in many respects its subtle. But at the same time it's really playing off the Tremor design that we have in the rest of our lineup but making it you know really personalized to Maverick and for Maverick you know we're targeting a younger customer, customers that typically tend to be in the more urban areas that want the maneuverability and the fuel efficiency so as they're driving in the city you know it works perfectly for their lifestyle. But then they can escape the city and go off-roading on the weekend right, and that's really what Tremor is all about is providing even more off-road capability than what we have today.” The Tremor off-road package comes equipped with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine and is priced at $2,995. Ordering banks will be open sometime in September of this year. For more information on these and other vehicles, check out CarPro.com. With Today’s Auto News, I’m Laura Reynolds.
