Dear Car Pro Family,
Hard to believe that next weekend is Labor Day weekend already and four months from Monday is Christmas day! Where does the time go? We’ve got another jam-packed edition of our newsletter for you to enjoy today and, as always, if there is information someone else might be able to use, feel free to forward this, we encourage you to do so. I get great joy out of educating people about cars and the car industry, and also what goes on in car dealerships.
Today, we kick it off with our annual in-depth study of tax code 179 for the self-employed and business owners. Remember, the size of the business does not matter. PLUS, a new way to save you money is in that same article, and it is for everyone, dealing with interest charges on new cars. Getting this info for you this year was a bit more challenging because of the big beautiful bill that was passed last month.
In news, the Ford Motor Company is taking a big gamble sinking 5 billion dollars into electric vehicles. J.D. Power released two studies I think you might be interested in, and in a first for me, an insurance company is suing Nissan, a Nissan dealership, AND their own customer regarding a fire that was started due to a recall that was not performed.
Kim Komando has some very useful information for you today, and don’t miss Kim’s Fun Quiz. The answer is at the very bottom of this newsletter, along with my closing message which addresses not believing everything on the Internet. I have a new batch of Quick Shift stories for you today, and don’t forget to go shopping in the Car Pro Merch shop, lots of good stuff there. Get caught up on the tariff news, too.
In car reviews, I have the ALL-NEW 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and apologies right now for gushing over it. I also have another very popular 3-row, the 2025 Kia Sorento SUV. In our third review, Amy Plemons brings you a gorgeous drop-top, the super-exclusive 2025 Mazda M-5 Miata 35th Anniversary Edition.
If you haven’t perused my FAQ page, please do. There are likely multiple articles you can use, every one of them written by me.
All of our other regular features are below including the Classic Car Contest, our radio station listings, how to connect with us on Facebook and call the show to talk directly to me, and much, much, more.
We very much appreciate you being part of the newsletter family. Without you, there is no Car Pro Show. Let us know how we can help you, and if you haven’t been to our website lately, check it out at CarPro.com. It changes daily.
Have a terrific week. See you on the radio!
