ALCOHOL POLICY
Sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. Responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted; however, disorderly or intoxicated persons will not be tolerated. Furnishing of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. Pennsylvania State Law considers anyone under the age of 21 a minor. No glass bottles.
ON-SITE BANKING
On-site banking services are provided by Members 1st Federal Credit Union located inside Building T. Phone: (800) 237-7288 or (717) 795-6049. Refer to the specific event for hours. The most widely accepted form of payment is always cash, yet having funds available can sometimes be difficult.
- Members 1st can help with pre-event loan approvals.
- ATMs that accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Cirrus, MAC, Honor, STAR, Plus and American Express.
- Credit Card cast advance services from VISA and MasterCard are available inside Building T.
CAMERAS / FILM
Disposable cameras and film is available at the Official Carlisle Events Souvenir Store in Building T.
CIGARETTES
Cigarettes are for sale at Debbie's Sweet Tooth concession at space GA-1 or via a vending machine located in the Food Court behind the Grandstand.
CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
Carlisle Events accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Credit cards accepted by individual vendors may vary.
DISABLED GUEST RENTALS
Disabled guests are welcome to enter with their own wheelchairs and three- or four-wheeled electric convenience vehicle (ECV). Disabled individuals may rent an electric convenience vehicle from our authorized vendor located just inside gate three with appropriate credentials. ECV rentals are limited and disabled individuals are encouraged to make rental arrangements in advance of the event by contacting Nice & Associates (330) 546-5820, or to arrive early to assure availability of a rental unit. Reservations may also be made online.
Operators of ECVs are required to possess appropriate credentials while on grounds. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case by case basis for disabled persons unable to operate a three-wheel vehicle who have their own properly insured golf cart and who make arrangements in advance of arrival.
FIRST AID
The First Aid station is located beneath the Stage with the Security office and is accessed from the rear.
FOOD AND CONCESSIONS
Great food can be found throughout the Fairgrounds at various locations, including undercover seating in the Food Court behind the Grandstand.
HAULING MERCHANDISE
Temporary vehicle passes to pick up parts or deliver supplies are available at the Vendor Services Office outside Gate 3 and from Security personnel at Gates 1, 2 and 3. The passes allow vehicle entry onto the Fairgrounds for a maximum time limit of one hour. A $50 deposit is required in addition to the holding of your driver’s license. The passes are not available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday of any event. More information is available at Guest Services near the Grandstand.
INTERNET ACCESS
Unsecured Wi-Fi Hot Spot - A broadcast internet service (public signal) is broadcast from the stage area during events. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your information and your equipment when accessing the Internet via this hot spot. Carlisle Events assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damages to your computer equipment or other property on account of your use of this hot spot.
Secured Wi-Fi Access - Available for a limited amount of sponsors per event. Arrangements are made with and through the Sponsorship Department. These arrangements need to be in place prior to the event.
Direct High Speed Internet Access - Vendors in Building T or Y wishing to have Internet access, should make arrangements for “DSL” with the same provider of phone service to their sites. Direct High Speed Internet Service is not otherwise available.
LOST AND FOUND
Lost and found articles should be turned in, or claimed, at the Vendor Services Office outside Gate 3 or at the Security office beneath the stage.
NOTARY SERVICES
Temporary tags, title work and vehicle registration can be transacted at the Notary Office in the Car Corral. Proof of insurance is required.
PACKAGE RECEIVING / SHIPPING
Packages shipped to our facility for vendors are stored in the receiving building located inside Gate 3. Hours will be posted at the building. There is no charge for the first three packages received per vendor per show. Vendors will be charged $5 for each additional package. Vendors will be charged a forklift fee of $25 per skid for delivery and unloading. A separate pickup and return fee is also $25 per skid.
No on-grounds service is available. Service is provided at The United States Postal Service, 247 South Spring Garden Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. Call (717) 258-5000.
ON-SITE PAGING
EMERGENCIES ONLY! This is limited to lost children and medical emergencies. We do not page individuals who have become separated from their party. When attending Carlisle events, make prior arrangements to meet with your party at a designated time and place (we suggest the bleacher side of the Grandstand). Lost and missing children should be reported to the Security Office.
PAY PHONES
Pay phones are located throughout the facility including the west end of the Grandstand, the east end of Building T, outside the Notary/Car Corral office, beside the North Field restrooms on the two-story white stone building and on the side of the red maintenance building at Gate 3.
PETS
Pets are strongly discouraged for health and safety reasons. If you cannot make other arrangements for boarding, your pet must be on a leash, and policing after them is required. Your pet must be under your control at all times and you are fully responsible for its actions. Any offensive or unsafe actions by your pet may result in expulsion from the fairgrounds without refund.
RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS
Numerous clean restrooms are located throughout the facility. Free hot showers are located behind the two-story white stone building and the Main Bath House on G-row south of the Grandstand.
SECURITY
Security patrols the fairgrounds 24 hours a day during events. They are located beneath the Stage and accessed from the rear. Security personnel are dressed in clearly labeled "Security" uniforms. On-grounds Security can be reached at (717) 243-2756.
TRAILER PARKING
Limited space is available at some of the events. Overflow goes to adjoining property within walking distance from the fairgrounds. Fee applies. Contact us for more information.
TRANSPORTATION
On Grounds Transportation - For safety reasons, the use of all personal means of transportation (bikes, scooters, golf carts, ATVs, motorcycles or minibikes, etc.) is forbidden on the Fairgrounds from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on all show days. No unlicensed drivers may operate these vehicles at any time. Verification of insurance is required.
Off Grounds Transportation - For taxi service, call (717) 243-4343. Arrange for pick-up at Gates 1, 2 or 3.
Tram Services - The Carlisle Tram makes continuous passes through the fairgrounds, route marked on the map, and can be found at the foodcourt between runs. Weather permitting.
WATER FOUNTAINS
Water fountains may be found inside the Grandstand next to the men’s restroom, inside Building T, at the restroom building located on Row G (two aisles behind the Grandstand), and outside the restrooms at the two-story white stone building.
WARNING TO ALL SHOW ATTENDEES
Dangerous conditions can exist on the Fairgrounds. Due to exposure to the weather, areas may become slippery or soft. Due to the nature of the goods displayed, heavy and sometimes dangerous equipment and moving vehicles are frequently present. Carlisle Events cannot be responsible for the conduct of vendors and patrons entering these premises. Those who enter the Fairgrounds do so at their own risk.
