Over 300 Mopars will be available for sale in the All-Chrysler Nationals Car Corral. The best part about the car corral is that you can meet with the seller, drive the vehicle, negotiate your own price and see and touch the car in person. Notary services including temporary tags are available right in the car corral. All vehicles in the corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. With nearly 3,000 vending spaces at the All-Chrysler Nationals, the swap meet is the place for the parts you need to finish the job that’s been sitting in your garage for years or to find your next Mopar project. Parts, memorabilia, collectibles and literature – if it’s Mopar related you’ll likely find it in the All-Chrysler Nationals Swap Meet. Interested vendors must be selling automotive merchandise or at least an 80/20% mix. Spaces are approximately 10’frontage x 30’depth and rent for $80 per outside space for the entire event. Beeney Motors is the name of our Retro Dealership and for 2010 we’ll turn the clock back to 1970; your car could be a part of the excitement. We’re looking for cars that are restored to original right down to the correct bias ply tires and original-style battery. Building Y is going to be a little different in 2010. There won’t be any shiny chrome or over-restored paint. Instead, we’re going to fill it with Barn Finds!! We’re looking for the coolest Mopars right out of the barn and we want to see flat tires, dirt and bird poop – just the way you found it. We’re hoping to see some of the Barn Find cars back in 2011, fully restored, so that everyone can see the transformation. Contestants for Miss All-Chrysler Nationals compete for cash prizes on Saturday evening at the Grandstand. Ladies can register at the Guest Services Information Trailer by the stage Friday and Saturday prior to the event. PLEASE NOTE: We have implemented new rules and created a new format for Miss Carlisle. See the registration form for details.

No Carlisle event would be complete without the burnout contest. “Carlisle King (or Queen) of the Hill” bragging rights are up for grabs at the Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals. Pre-registration is required at Guest Services. A show sticker (i.e. registered for vending or showfield), driver’s license and proof of insurance are required. Be at the stage on Saturday evening with the “Giveaway Car” ticket provided to you upon entry of the event to be eligible to win a car! No purchase is necessary but you must be present to win. The All-Chrysler Nationals is fun for the entire family, and we have not forgotten the kids. In the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center Area, we have automotive themed crafts for kids and parents to enjoy together. There is also a contest for kids to design a poster around our new mascots, Max and Mandy the Mechanic. Max and Mandy will visit the kid’s area periodically throughout the event. Another new contest is for “Carlisle Cuties” – babies and toddlers up to age 3 – to dress to impress in their Chrysler or Carlisle themed apparel. Cuties will meet at the Grandstand on Sunday at 12:30; all participants will receive a toy and the cutie with the best outfit will win a $100 US Savings Bond. We’ve also added new play activities that we think will “wow” the young ones. Come and check it out!

For those who are ready for something more than the participant ballot judging or if you took 1st Place in your class in the past, the All-Chrysler Nationals offers the Standard of Mopar Excellence (SME). SME judging has the cars competing against the judging sheets on a 100 point scale rather than against each other. SME is not to be taken lightly and competitors often return year after year using the scoring sheets and the judges’ advice to improve their scores. Click here to register for SME competition. We’re again teaming up with Mopar Muscle magazine and Muscle Motors for another cool Engine Giveaway. We’re still working on the details but we’ll make sure it’s another stout motor like the previous giveaways. No purchase is necessary but you must be present on Sunday at 3 PM to win.

Survivors are true time capsules and are the best way to see exactly how these vehicles were originally assembled on the line. They still have their original factory applied paint, interiors and drive trains; or at least a minimum of 85% of it. Thanks to Mel Major we’ve been able to bring you over forty unique examples for each of the last several years. Stop by the Mopar Survivors Display and take lots of reference photos for your restoration project, enhance your knowledge or just to admire these rare beauties. Purpose-built for the Trans Am series in 1970, the AAR and T/A are two of the most coveted E-Bodies with enthusiasts today. We are working to assemble an amazing display of the high winding 340+6 street cars and are also hoping to have a race car or two on hand. Our rock crawl course consists of rocks ranging from mild to wild, as well as a concrete wall for the serious crawlers! Members of Rausch Creek will put on demonstrations throughout the weekend. The Carlisle Rock Crawl is also open to Showfield participants who want to give it a try. See Jeeps, Dodge trucks and tube buggies conquer the rocks on the North Hill!

Building T is home to the best of the best each year from classic Mopars, Jeep, and AMC to the latest concepts direct from Chrysler. We strive to put together a display that represents every area of the Mopar hobby. Stock or modified, new or old, it’s welcome. Axcelerated Motorsports is the official Dyno of Carlisle Events. Axcelerated provides mobile Dyno tuning for cars and trucks using their Dynojet 248 chassis dynamometer. Their wide band O2 monitoring will determine if all that precious fuel is making power or just being wasted out the tailpipes.

The younger generation is the future of the Mopar hobby and we want to make sure they have a home at the All-Chrysler Nationals. If you haven’t checked out the Young Guns classes yet, you might be surprised to see that what they are doing isn’t a whole lot different than what we “old timers” are used to. Young Guns classes are open to licensed drivers, age 16-25.

Mopar enthusiasts are some of the most social in the car hobby. With that fun and social enthusiasm, it should come as no surprise that there are many clubs in attendance at the All-Chrysler Nationals. In addition to the competition among the cars, there is a battle between clubs to see who has the most cars registered. As a bonus, we offer the use of a 20’ X 20’ tent to those clubs who register 25 vehicles or more. These tents are a great place to take a break and they make a great club headquarters for the weekend. Larger clubs may be eligible for a bigger tent. Contact us for details.

A common trait among the Mopar faithful is the do-it-yourself attitude. While you’re here at the All-Chrysler Nationals, tune up your automotive knowledge with free seminars including information for both the seasoned veteran and rookie Mopar enthusiast. Previous topics have included performance, restoration and maintenance. Seminars are conducted by some of the biggest names in the business. Get your weekend started on Thursday evening with the Kick-Off to Carlisle hosted by Mopar Rebellion and held at CVM Dodge in Mechanicsburg. The Kick-Off features raffles, door prizes, inexpensive food, music, great Mopars and more. Whether it’s for bragging rights, showing your ride to the Mopar faithful, or a photo for your display, the Carlisle Events Award Parade is a must-have for our participants. Professional photography is available at the parade ceremony and available on-site for purchase. Awards are presented Sunday at 1:00 PM during the Awards Parade in front of the stage. If you cannot attend the parade, your award can be picked up Sunday between 9:00-11:00 AM. Carlisle Events will no longer provide shipping of awards at no cost. After the show you may pick up your award during regular business hours at the fairgrounds or we will ship awards for $10 each.
